The expanded resistance ranges for .1% tolerance and 25 ppm temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) ratings are as follows:
  • AR02 (0402): 10 ohms to 205K ohms
  • AR03 (0603): 4.7 ohms to 1Meg ohms
  • AR05 (0805): 4.7 ohms to 2Meg ohms
  • AR06 (1206): 4.7 ohms to 2.5Meg ohms
  • AR10 (2010),AR12 (2512) : 4.7 ohms to 3 Meg ohms

The AR uses several materials, design, and process improvements compared to standard nichrome thin-film precision chip resistors. For example, an additional process is performed stable reliability with wide range of resistance as well as very tight tolerance of 0.01%, TCR 10ppm. The range is expanded as follows:
  • AR02 (0402): 49.9 ohms to 12K ohms
  • AR03 (0603): 25 ohms to 100K ohms
  • AR05 (0805): 25 ohms to 200K ohms
  • AR06 (1206): 25 ohms to 500K ohms
  • AR10 (2010),AR12 (2512) : 25 ohms to 500K ohms
The AR series is suitable for a variety of precision applications in industrial controls and power supplies, meters, instrumentation, data and voice communications equipment and servers, and HVAC. The AR resistors are lead free and RoHS compliant.
