Der tantalnitridische Widerstandsbelag bildet eine feuchtigkeitsundurchlässige Barriere aus Tantalpentoxid, die Tausende von Feuchtigkeitstests bei 85 °C / 85% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit standhalten kann.
