Afbouwcurve
De MELF is cilindrisch van vorm en heeft metalen elektrode Leadless face weerstand. De landpatroonmaten zijn hetzelfde als SMD-chipweerstanden.
Het wordt vervaardigd door het aanbrengen van een homogene film van NiCr op een keramisch lichaam van hoge kwaliteit. MELF-weerstanden van hoge kwaliteit bieden uitstekende elektrische en milieustabiliteit, uitzonderlijke stabiliteit gedurende de levensduur, onderworpen aan vochtigheid en kortdurende overbelastingstests.
