Kromming
De MELF is cilindrisch van vorm en heeft een metalen elektrode zonder aansluitingen. De landpatroonformaten zijn hetzelfde als die van SMD-chipweerstanden.
Het wordt vervaardigd door een homogene film van NiCr op een hoogwaardig keramisch lichaam aan te brengen. De hoge kwaliteit van MELF-resistors biedt uitstekende elektrische en omgevingsstabiliteit, uitzonderlijke stabiliteit aangetoond gedurende de levensduur, bij bevochtigde omstandigheden en bij kortdurende overbelastingstests.
